We are Véronique and Gilles, the owners of Gîte Le Douglas. It was while looking for a house in the Jura for a new page in our life that we discovered Lavigny. We both fell in love with this small village full of charm due to its green natural environment and its location in the middle of the Jura domain, very close to the villages of Château-Chalon and Baume-les-Messieurs. We are sure that, like us, you will appreciate its full appeal. Languages spoken: French and English

Our equipment

Sheets and linen

A shower towel, gloves and hand towel are provided for each person as well as household linen: tea towels, hand towels, napkins, etc. Beds are made upon your arrival.

End of stay cleaning

Leave with all the benefit of a truly rejuvenating vacation, we will take care of the end-of-stay cleaning.

Sauna

Enjoy the benefits of the traditional sauna with free access. Perfect for relaxing after a great day of discoveries!

The sleeping areas are air-conditioned. You will find a daily maintenance kit (sponge, household products, etc.) as well as a culinary base (salt, pepper, mustard, oils, vinegars, sugars).

Véronique and Gilles are very welcoming hosts and so kind that you immediately feel welcome. The cottage is very (very) well equipped. It is well laid out, very comfortable and the presence of the sauna is a real added value. The village is quiet, relaxing and very well located for visiting the localities of the region. Perfect stay with a covered location for our 3 motorcycles. THANK YOU again to both of you.

First of all, thanks to Véronique and Gilles for their welcome. Then, the cottage is superb, warm, spacious and clean! This level of equipment is a first for us. Everything is there, for cooking (raclette machine, pancakes, etc.), for relaxing (sauna, sofas by the fire), for entertainment (indoor and outdoor games for young and old) and for rest. (comfort of the bedding, calm)! You will find a daily maintenance kit (sponge, household products, etc.) as well as a culinary base (salt, pepper, mustard, oils, vinegars, sugars). And the icing on the cake: end-of-stay cleaning is included! A superb experience to repeat!

very spacious cottage, very clean, everything is there, nothing to bring for young and old (games, childcare equipment, reading, SAUNA, etc.) the hosts are very pleasant and helpful, very kind and discreet. We recommend this gîte with great pleasure and thank Gilles and Véronique for everything.

Quaint and very warm gîte. Large, well-equipped kitchen. Very pleasant living room with wood stove, perfect for winter evenings. The sauna completes the cocooning side! We had a very pleasant stay there.
